15-Yard Dump Trailer
The 15-yard dump trailer is our most popular size — and the one we built the company around. At 7 feet wide by 14 feet long, it tucks into a standard residential driveway without hanging into the street or scraping the concrete. The included 1 ton (2,000 pounds) of disposal covers a single-room cleanout, most kitchen or bath remodels, or a thorough garage purge. If you're not sure which size you need, this one is the answer about 80% of the time.
What fits
What you can put in a 15-yard dump trailer.
- ✓Roughly 5-6 standard pickup-truck-bed loads of debris
- ✓An entire single-car garage worth of stuff
- ✓A full kitchen demo: cabinets, countertops, tile, drywall
- ✓A bath remodel: tub, vanity, tile, toilet, drywall
- ✓An attic or basement cleanout
- ✓Yard waste from a half-acre cleanup
- ✓Furniture from a 2-3 bedroom estate cleanout
Not ideal for
When to choose a different size.
- ×Concrete or dirt loads (extremely heavy — overage adds up fast)
- ×Whole-house demolitions
- ×Commercial construction debris
Typical jobs
Typical projects this size handles.
Here’s what these jobs usually look like. They’re representative scenarios, not specific customer jobs, and weights are rough estimates.
Kitchen remodel — Madison
Full cabinet tear-out, old appliances, tile floor, drywall. Roughly 2,500 lbs.
Garage cleanout — Hampton Cove
Two decades of holiday decorations, broken lawn equipment, paint cans (safely disposed), random furniture. Roughly 2,000 lbs.
Estate cleanout — Twickenham
Three rooms worth of furniture and personal items. Roughly 3,000 lbs.
FYI
Things worth knowing.
- !This is the right tool for a roof tear-off: a single-layer 20 to 25 square 3-tab roof is roughly 2.4 to 3.5 tons, which fits one load but runs past the included 1 ton, so expect about $210 to $375 in overage. Architectural shingles run heavier, roughly 3.5 to 5.6 tons for the same size roof (about $375 to $694 in overage), so for architectural tear-offs above about 20 squares or two layers, go with the 20-yard or we plan a second haul with you up front.
- !Dump trailers roll on standard pneumatic tires — same as any car or trailer — so they're a safe choice for sealed concrete and decorative paver driveways.
- !We back into your driveway, lower the rear ramp, and you load on your time over the 7-day window.
- !The trailer doesn't need to stay open — you can close and tarp it overnight to keep critters and rain out.
